Who We Are
The Richardson Adult Literacy Center (RALC) transforms lives by providing English as a Second Language (ESL) and workforce readiness programs to adults in Richardson and surrounding North Texas communities.
By learning or improving their English, adult students can better their employment opportunities, help their children in school, and become more involved community members. RALC offers in-person classes in classrooms in the Richardson/RISD area, as well as online classes.
Our Story
RALC was founded in 1990 through a collaboration between several community organizations. Members of these organizations saw that Richardson’s demographics were changing and that there were gaps within adult ESL services. The organization has succeeded for more than 30 years because of its dedicated volunteers and loyal community support.
